Dataset is a collection of raw statistics and information generated by a research study. Metadata is information that is given to describe dataset without exposing identifiable information.
In the Curator platform it is documentation that describes a dataset without exposing real and identifiable data to the outside world.
Only anonymized metadata files are uploaded to Curator ensuring that no identifiable information is exposed to the platform.

Supported file formats are JSON and CSV, and additional formats are to be discussed. Reach our support at support@longenesis.com and they will guide you through the dataset publishing processes, including how to prepare the dataset for uploading on Curator.
The metadata file is owned by a data publisher. Curator has the authorization to process the metadata just to the extent of what is stipulated in the Curator user agreement.
Data publisher takes full responsibility for the published metadata legitimacy and reliability.
Published datasets, as well as collaboration requests, are associated with identifiable user/organization – collaboration partners can see the dataset publisher and data publishers can see who has sent a collaboration request.
Metadata can be uploaded if the data publisher has previously acquired the patient's consent, to use the data in such a way.
For new data collection and dataset creation data publishers, including clinical investigators, researchers, etc., can use Themis platform.
